When I started making my Christmas tree skirt, I didn't realize I would have so many other things going on that I would not be able to finish it for Christmas. I actually finished the tree skirt on January 7th! Just in time to pack up all the Christmas stuff for next year. I was not really satisfied with the back, but the front is really nice.
This is the front before I quilted it.

Here is the back before quilting.

The finished product!

Really gorgeous! I like the fabric choice on the back; maybe if all of the corner blocks had had the same pattern? I guess backs are for experimenting with, right? I was so exhausted from doing the front of my little quilt & so excited to get it quilted, that I just made it plain!
ReplyDeleteI would have loved the back if the four corners were symmetrical. The fabric is great! I am just a little put off by it not being symmetrical.
