For December, we were asked to make houses that filled the block. It needed to be 12.5 inches tall, but could be any width. I wasn't really inpressed with what I made. This was the first time I made a house, but I had envisioned something more. I was really happy with my little trees! I decided that this block fit the model of a typical metro Atlanta house. Big house with a tiny yard and two small trees in the front yard! I am not sure if I will attempt any more of these anytime soon.
I love these kind of things! Not sure I could make one, but I've seen several that are "pictures" done in a block - and I really like the idea. Yours is very good too - I like it!
ReplyDeleteThis is VERY cute, Bethany. You really underestimated your work here. It's graphic & the color way is great! So, you sent this off to another quilter? What an interesting concept!
