Hi Bethany - I hope this doesn't sound like I'm stalking you or something, but I was doing a search and ran across your comment on another blog, about wanting a modern quilt guild in Atlanta. I just wanted to let you know that Atlanta does have a modern guild now that is steadily growing. If you haven't found us already, our website is http://atlantamodernquiltguild.webs.com/ - you can find all kinds of info there. We have one last meeting at Whipstitch in Atlanta on September 12, then we will be meeting at Tiny Stitches for the next six months (up in Marietta). If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, but we'd love it if you could join us! (Also, we are free - no dues!!).
On a side note, I love your blog. It sounds like we have a lot in common - I plan on homeschooling my son, too. And I've only been sewing for almost two years and I'm just now venturing into garment sewing for myself!! ~Andi
I am married to a wonderful man and we have six children ages 10 and younger. I stay home with my kids and homeschool three of the children. It is a lot of work, but we love our busy home and all that God has given us!
Thanks for entering my giveaway and good luck!
